Old, old thread but....how'd things end up over at sammons/ dsv?

 

I left dsv about a year ago, they still run the same lp program I believe, I'm at Admiral Merchants now and loving it here

 

Wasn't looking for lp, just trying to figure out what is lie and what is true about the company. A couple people have been quoting $3+/mile running RGN.

 

As Chinatown mentioned, sometimes those amenities are part of the truck and lease.

I started training with Jim Palmer trucking in July of 2018 (Wilson Logistics or Wil-Trans) in Missoula.

I went solo in a 2015, 10 spd Pete in Oct.

I took that truck to Springfield, Missouri, under load to get rid of it Nov 27th, 2018. My replacement truck was a brand new 2019 Cascadia with 22 miles on it.

It came with epu, inverter, refrigerator, sat tv.

I went lease op on the same truck in May of 2019. But I let them pay for the first PM and overhead first.

I have put 166k miles on this truck.

My combined company driver pay and lease op settlements for 2019 are right about $85k, before about 20k per diem deduction. Not bad for a rookie.
