    Not really . Bought a 05 three years ago . Dodge with the Cummins . Would not buy a new truck anytime soon .

    Yes, Fiat bought Ford's european truck business many years ago (and the farm and construction equipment business as well).
    About same time the american Ford heavy truck business was sold to Daimler, to become Sterling.

    Ford Otosan in Turkey kept using the Ford name and Ford Cargo cab, but started to use Iveco (Fiat) technology like engines.

    Later Ford Otosan became independent from Fiat/Iveco and they started developing their own engines, with strong resemblance to the FPT/Iveco Cursor.

    Aluminum frame too...... they haul 34 ton legally around here all day long......with a heavy spec tractor....:)
