If you don't like the noise. Do what us flatbedders do.
Park the opposite way. So you're at the end of their trailer instead of the front of their trailer.D.Tibbitt, Intothesunset, FlaSwampRat and 2 others Thank this. -
My ac was broke last summer, and I got along without it. I fixed it, now it works. Even so, at night I will turn the AC on high just long enough to get it about 62 degrees in the sleeper. then shut the truck down for the rest of the night. Once I am asleep, Im good, Saves fuel, and I and others sleep better.
Intothesunset and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
I have pulled in backwards before for noise relief, as long as I know I wont have too difficult of a time getting out the next morning.
Intothesunset and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
No, I just shut off their fuel valve at the tankFlaSwampRat and Broke trucker Thank this.

You are fixing to get knots all over important spots on the body, that is simple sabotage. Once youre arrested and your company finds out, you don't have work anymore. It will be a few weeks to eliminate the ows and knots out of your system anyway.
Some drivers being where they are from would just shoot you and thats the end of that.
You don't touch their truck and so forth. No matter how annoying. I had many company rigs with active airdryers and don't even hear them anymore unless they quit working.
I think the airdryer is a symptom of a burr under your saddle that make you go loco for whatever reason not related to it.
As a team truck we ran the hell out of the engine to support a inverter driving a variety of cooking and electrical house stuff in the sleeper in the few hours in waiting for loads. If not the dryer then the reefer would be howling anyhow. -
What is wrong with you people?
Touch my truck and then you go to the hospital and then to jail.
If you ####### can’t handle it go park at your mega companies terminal, they have them everywhere.
Just go to bed and sleep. It’s like you need your mommas to bring you cookies and milk too.
Unreal.Rubber duck kw, D.Tibbitt, LoboSolo and 10 others Thank this. -
I parked next to one of these trucks that did that every 10 seconds or so. It was annoying as hell but there was no other spot available. My truck has an APU which did a decent job of drowning out the noise. When I went to bed I just popped in earplugs and off to nighty night land I went.
Intothesunset, ncmickey and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
In my twisted way of thinking, the guy idling at 60 degrees with an air leak, would be the jerk, if you messed with his truck, you would be one sorry excuse for a human, and very possibly a seriously hurt sorry excuse if caught.
D.Tibbitt, Intothesunset and FlaSwampRat Thank this.
