Trucker attempts driving through flash flood

Watched a show on discovery channel on those trucks in the Australian outback, the way they’re made is remarkable definitely not your typical truck

 

Major truck route between Vegas and Phoenix, even though it’s mostly two Lane from Vicksburg to Needles.

Ive done high water. But that in the story is flat stupid.

The worst of it would be up by 287 in the region of Childress or Chillicothe maybe. We would have big storms to the north and the waters flow SW direction following the residental cross street right to left downhill with roaring torrents 3 feet at intersections. Being loaded was not a problem but empties would jackknife.

 

I just recently ran through flood water in houston. Slow and steady won the race.

 

Currents moving way too quick. Don’t chance it with white water.

 

Even if I was in a big C500 I wouldn't try that. Wonder how those diffs are looking now that they've possibly taken on water?
