K and B sucks

Legit question, if you get screwed for hours at a shipper/receiver, do you get detention on top of the $1250 per week?

If that's the case, getting screwed and running no miles isn't such a bad gig for a newbie at a bottom feeder for $1250/week.

 

They are kind of big....so you don't think that like working there? The ones that have succeeded probably spend more time driving than bashing companies. A large reefer company is a large reefer company. They are all pretty much the same. The ones that fuss at one company will fuss at all.

 

K and B is a shyster company.... They have a reputation for be dirty and underhanded.... They are essentially nothing short of a bottom of the barrel trash company

 

No if you get 1500 hours detention at 1$ an hour and no miles you will get 1500$ for that week not 1250

This is where the rubber meets the road about all the horse hockey you hear about "shortage of drivers". If there was a true shortage K and B would not be able to fill 1 driver seat, much less the 770 drivers they now have(according to FMCSA website)

 

the primary transmission doesn't, but the 2 speed secondary transmission does (your range switch shifts it from 1st to 2nd or also labeled lo and high). I've been issued many old trucks that had the range syncro's going bad.

 

It would be nice to see K&B go belly up

 

Team Penske is hiring but if all you want to do is drive and sleep then this isn't the job for you.
