This is why I'd never pull a reefer to a Dist center-Especially for a brokerage- Who has your back?
Really...Who's protecting your revenue when something like this happens?

Course you know those scumbags will try to mess with claims and discounted freight terms(Which is illegal)

If I ever were to haul a reefer- It would be from manufacturer or Dist center to grocery Stores only-Where people are actually waiting for Milk,Ice Cream,eggs,Steaks,Fish, Produce and what not.

 

Must have never done produce? That stuff will rot on your trailer and get rejected no matter how vigilant you are.

Frozen stuff is easy to keep as long as your reefer doesn’t break down.

 

as soon as I you hear someone who doesn't do the job say "its simple," that's a red flag

 

Once the temperature gets 10 over the setpoint it should turn yellow and give a box out of temp alarm.

 

You wouldn’t have produce at 13.

 

A defrost could bring the air temperature to 60

 

Won't rot if loaded good produce & delivered on time. Gotta check what goes in.
