Plenty of money to be made pulling van freight if you take the time to build relationships with agents on a lane you want to run. I work with 3 agents now running from Houston to Tennessee to Michigan and back to Houston every week. I leave on Monday and return Saturday morning. $4750 to the truck for 2760 miles. I live load the first pickup and delivery, then drop and hook the remaining two pickups and deliveries. All 3 agents are direct shipper loads and they are excellent!

I have only been here a few months and have yet to haul a load that was not a direct shipper. The time spent researching agents and what they haul has been well worth the effort. Now, I am booked out until Christmas! Plenty of money to be made if you put in the effort to find it and build relationships. It works for me!
