Right? Like I had my issues with Schneider, and they took advantage of me when I was a rookie, but...I was a rookie. That's what they do. It wasn't anything personal, that's just their business model.
Are they bad for truckload OTR? Yeah, they probably are. But no worse than any other mega. And they're an opportunity for new drivers. They chose to get in the business of being a stepping stone.NavigatorWife, D.Tibbitt, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
Roadrunner is hiring in Chicagoland 1.57/mile plus FSC. Recruiter told me home every other night. Only thing I disliked was $235 per week for trailer, and they said mostly drop and hook/terminal to terminal....so I’m not quite understanding the high charge for pulling their trailers? Anyone out here running with RR as an IC out of Chicago can confirm why I’ve been told....I see the rate sheet, but they assured me all loads pay $1.57 out of Chicago.....any info appreciated as I’m about to get back out there.
