Aren't you guys scared of taking these sleep medication drugs and then STILL not being able to fall asleep? Wouldn't that be like you were high or something?
That's why those sleep medication drugs scare me. One time I took children's dimatap night time cough syrups, still couldn't fall asleep, and suddenly got a burst of energy a few hours later. It was really weird, I didn't like it.
Tired.

I've been having this problem lately too. I get home around 2am most days nice and tired. Take a shower, lay down in bed and cannot fall asleep. I'm going thru this as I type this. Probably fell asleep around 4:30-5:00 got up at 6 to get my daughter to school and now I'm sitting on the couch wide awake when I should be sleeping. It seems to happen in waves with me. I'll have a week or two like this and then a week or two where I can fall asleep immediately.

I know....that's probably what is waking me up but I can't go to bed without one. I'm chucking pallets out of the trailer all night so I'm soaking wet with sweat.D.Tibbitt and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I have not showered in 3 days. I am still unable to sleep when needed. I need an off switch for my organic CPU.

I finally figured out that I am the freshest when I wake up around 10 PM and go to sleep between 2 PM and 4 PM. Then after I drive about 250 miles or so I get in a 10 to 15 minute nap which makes a huge difference. I can drive in afternoon traffic skillwise but it really seems to drain my energy to I like to shut down as early as possible. I think we are all different and figuring out the best sleep cycle for us is key. Also I stay pretty close to the same sleep schedule when I'm off work as well, even on vacation. I'm off today and I need to go to sleep pretty soon (It's 4 PM).
FlaSwampRat, Rideandrepair and Intothesunset Thank this. -
You are in Florida, all you have to do is walk out the door and you will be soaked in sweat by the time you get to your truck, god I used to hate that. lolD.Tibbitt, Rideandrepair, Lepton1 and 2 others Thank this.
