I know that's right. From when I started in 2004 to 2017 was a big change. I took 2018 off and got back in the truck this past summer and it was a night and day difference. I'm still dumb enough to like freight relocation, though haha!
Oh, and a note I should have put in my previous reply, I average 7.2 mpgTall Mike Thanks this. -
I’ve got 2 friends still OTR, one of them will have 3600 this week when he kicks it off Monday, the other will have 3750. One in 68 truck, other in 65 truck, both will still have hrs to go get loaded & repeat.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
HA! Pure gold, right there!!Seattle206 and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

Every last one that has passed me on I-10 in West Texas, is moving at light speed! I just see blurred lights, and smell manure. That's how I know its a Cattle Runner! Being Governed too 65 is depressing running dedicated to Midland TX Via 10 back to SA!
I need a better company bad!
65 mph with 666 miles there and back avgs 60mph on an 80 mph speed limit highway.
That's 11.1 hrs of drive time. Throw in offload, Pre trip, Fuel and post trip. That's 3hrs
14.1 - 14.6 is the day on TX 15hr.
You boost the speed to 75 which safety is pleading his, case but he wont' because its a Mega place. They don't make exceptions!
70 mph avg /666 = 9.5 vs 11. that 1hr 40 mins saved. Governed 75 mph
75 mph avg / 666 = 8.8 vs 11 that's 2hrs 30 mins saved. Governed 80 mph
Yeah I'm paid by the load, and not miles or hrs.Last edited: Oct 6, 2019
Reason for edit: added some mathalds Thanks this. -
Unlimited... ha. Ive already been on the other side of the dollar so much. It has no attraction to me.
However a engine that will red line at whatever power that is possible is very attractive. Not like the neutered engines that roll over and die at 1650. -
I’m governored at 67 and I feel bad for every one in the left lane when I pass someone going 66 I would love to cruise at 70 and be able to pass at my pleasingalds Thanks this.

I can do 74, and still can't easily pass everyone. It's never enough. Just get in the slow lane and get comfortable. Life is a lot less stressful doing 65 in the slow lane, getting passed, than fighting everyone for 11 hours straight.Mototom, buddyd157, John E. and 1 other person Thank this.

Must be recent. I signed up on a real good deal late last night for some money they found for me. Gotta send my bank routing.
Hope it is ok. -
I loose mph when I loose fuel pressure or rpm range
