Class A or B?
-
How many years of experience in the industry do you have? How many years have you been driving a dump truck?
-
Bro I have at least 6 months experience plan on doing it after a year.

I have a class A but I’d rather invest small then go bigger so class b dump

I spent a lot of time in the dump business, there's only so many local jobs for a driver, as a company driver, O/O is extremely competitive. Many of the jobs are by bid and the same guys get them year after year. Blacktop is the best gig for an O/O dump, but good luck. If we can't talk you out of it, there's only one truck I'd do dump work with, and that's an older Mack.

I'll agree that the most reliable brand for a dump truck is a Bulldog as far as taking off-road abuse. Always figured miles on a dump truck were like dog years, anyway. 500K on a bucket is like 1.1M on a road tractor.FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

I've never ran a dump truck but have thought about it. I had a guy tell me it's not too bad except the trucks give lots of trouble from the abuse and not made to carry all that weight. He specifically said a lot of blown airbags. Anyone know if this is true?
