Hes probably referring to the one in Calumet. I don't recall any other 76's in that immediate area as of 15 years ago.

We had 3 union 76 truckstops in the chicago area, all gone about 15 20 years now.
1.South Holland (I-94 and 159th street)
2, Bolingbrook (I-55 and Route 53 exit)

It's a little way out of town in Joliet but the Hollywood Casino is fantastic parking and always empty. They have good restaurants and, of course, gambling. It looks kind of sketchy going in because you cant see anything but trees and what looks like a tight, winding road in but it opens up inside and is, IMHO, one of the best places to park in the area, and guarded. The truck parking is on the far side of the lot, check Google for a better idea of the entry. Funny too because just down the road is one of the smallest, trashiest Pilots in the country and it's always packed.
