try NAPA, they carry some big inline fuses and you just bolt battery cable ends to it.

I've had 30 amp fuse on my system for years and it runs my 1500 watt inverter with no problem! You really aren't pulling AMPS that hard with an inverter but WATTS! I run a coffee maker, microwave, laptop and chargers for cell and headset off of mine but no TV as that's done on broadband and now that they've gone HD I don't see the a reason for a TV anymore. I also use the resettable circuit breaker at the battery. Look at the specs on the box or UL Plate on the inverter and see the what the max wattage, volts and amperage is.
Now 90 amps are ok. it's not that big a deal as long as the circuit breaker(s) is/are AT the positive terminal of the battery and NOT at the inverter! You're trying to protect the truck from burning down and if that breaker is at the inverter, then well it's protecting the inverter untill the fire gets to it! -
Ohms law V x A = W Volts x Amps = Watts 30 amp fuse at 12 volts is 360 watts. 400 watts burns the fuse. 1500 watt inverter at peak demand (1000 watt micro) will draw more than 125 amps. That is the math. My advise for cables on your 2500 watt inverter 00 stranded welding cable with all crimped ends. Fuse or circuit breaker as close to + on the battery as possible. Westmarine will sell switch and breakers to suit your needs. Battery stores will make up cables. Positive and negative cables should be the same size. Do not use a chassis ground for this installation!
