Well since u drive for fed ex , ur truck is equipped with a magnet that pulls u toward every ditch so be careful. If u do hit the ditch , just make sure to stand outside with ur hands on ur head , looking surprised as if u had no idea what happened. Also u may find your truck immovable at the fuel island , due to the special magnets inside of your fuel tank that pulls u towards the fuel island at every truck stop, avoid this temptation to park inthe fuel island and find a proper spot to park in .MACK E-6, Tx Countryboy, quatto and 3 others Thank this.

When I first started doing nights it probably took me about a month to really get my sleep schedule flipped to sleeping during the day. I still have days where I find it hard to fall asleep but no more than anyone else that has some nights they can't fall asleep I think.D.Tibbitt and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

Good luck on your new adventure with FedEx. @Joy ride

Here is a prime example of how your sleep schedule will rotate. It's 2am, I'm not at work and WIDE awake.

Well that was fast, congrats! Less than 24 hours after you started this thread lol.
If you are able to stick to the same sleep schedule even on your days off, you'll adapt a lot quicker. When I flip to overnights, I stay up for about 20 hours 1 day, then sleep for 8, then stay up for another 20 the next day and I'm pretty much set.Texas_hwy_287 and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
actually, from what i recall, to maintain a good sleep, during the day time, NEVER go to bed any time differently on your days/nights off...maintain that SAME bedtime habit.
unfortunately, i never maintained that advice myself. too many things to do around the house on the weekends. so i stayed up when i got home on saturday mornings, until about 10 PM that night. then came sunday, rinse, repeat.....plankton, FlaSwampRat and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
