Truck prices

As long as you keep up with the maintenance it will last as long as you want, That DD15 should be good for another 600K I would think.

 

That’s a lot more than I was thinking.
I’m assuming these fleet trucks had an oil change interval of at least 50k
Not to mention the caliber

This is what I was initially thinking.

 

DD15 is good, but everything else would be expensive to replace. For example fuel pump is about 4k just for the part and it likes to fail at 700-900k.

Used prices are definitely in the toilet. I expect them to be for the next year or so.

I made the mistake of trying to sell these last two used trucks myself and it’s pretty much impossible to get them sold. Looks like my owner op is going to buy one and the other I’m placing into backup status. Makes no sense to sell paid for trucks for 30k when if I have to rent one it’s at least 1000 per week.
