So you had a company lease purchase truck, and had a bad experience, man that is a new one for sure.

It's more how they did it and a matter of law. Like I said before, I'm going through the local labor board and several other entities to get money owed to me. I may not have powerful attorneys but these people do.
I requested more of a maintenance escrow just so I could pay the repairs off and they refused before taking it. My Quality lease was much worse.
I'm shocked they would this to people. I would have made them more money paying off the truck and hauling freight for them for the next several years. Instead they took it back, sold it for maybe 30 grand and I quit.
Its someone wanting a quick return, I guess. As many people they shuffle through in the office and in executive positions they're probably all just pocketing what they can and moving on to the next company. -

I'm not "mad as heck and fed up." I want paid for the labor I performed and have to resort to suing them and taking it to the labor board. I am writing this as a warning to other drivers that this company will do this to people. It may not be them, they might get lucky like yourself, but it might.

After I switched to company in an hourly local position ($20 per hour with no overtime), I worked 3 weeks. I was paid $600 one week for 3 days work. I was paid for last week at $900. I was told two days of the first week I didn't work, even though I have the logs and the bills of lading to prove that I did. I was also told I only worked 52 hours and was given a $0 paycheck and a comcheck of $900. I was not ever given a paystub. It shows "-$100 for the remaining escrow balance and 0 hours worked."
I wasn't fired when they took my lease truck. They put me on a company position but everything was screwed up at that point. I always owed money and then was billed the remaining balance of the maintenance account after I was forcibly switched to company.
I have all of the bills of lading, all of my logs, all of the load orders, and the entire conversation between myself and management. I just want what they were supposed to pay me. Nothing more and nothing less. That is in my contract with them.

Lonesome Thanks this. -
What you are saying, is that all your troubles was originated by the lease deal, and even after you returned the lease truck, or it was taken from you you still owed them money on it??
What was the cause of the major repair bills, if you are wondering if it was tampered with? -
It was towed to the shop and they said they will not pay for the repairs. I was already negative in my escrow account by $4000. I was then billed at $100 per week for the remaining escrow balance, including the tow.
After the shop saw it they cleared the error codes and it started up when I went to get my stuff out. I was told "interesting..." by my manager and he never said anything else.
They said it was the boost controller and somehow the ecm caused it to prevent the truck from starting. I had requested some of the AC lines to be replaced as they were leaking refrigerant.
I seriously believe they just wanted to take the truck from me. I was in the shop every two weeks for one thing or another, and have sunk over $50,000 into it in less than two years. To take it at that point is more of a "#### you" than a good business decision on their part. It makes no sense not to keep it running and me making them money.
