Question about TMC

Honestly I'd be surprised if they took one with any DUI's period. It's an employers market right now, they have their pick of the litter from a deep pool of experienced and new currently unemployed truckers. If you've got one good luck, it's a tough thing to get by with in trucking.

 

They do take guys who have had DUI's. DH had one over 10 years ago. He was hired under the old policy, however, of 5 years. Go ahead and try to get prehired. See what they say. Good Luck!

 

I had a chance to talk to the career adviser at school today and found out that it`s ok to have one as long as it was before your 23 birthday.....I made it by 2 months lol. So they sent the app in and hopefully I`ll get accepted.

 

well mine hasn`t been sent in yet and the career lady left early today...but then again she`s only part time so I guess I`ll have to talk to her tomorrow.
