Been a rider

Hi. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm columbine, a wildflower from colorado.

I've been a rider, cook, cleaner and dog walker for a friend of mine for the past year. The deal was I was supposed to learn to drive while I was out there but it's not so easy with someone who's not much of a teacher. I've had my instruction permit the whole time and have hundreds of hours of forward and flat highway driving. Just call me truck slave!

So now, I'm headed for truck driving school. Hopefully starting in September, if I can get the funding I've applied for. Still having to decide which company to train with (of course, that could be limited, in this economy), whether to drive solo or team back up with my friend.

This seems like a great forum to get the info I need and I appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks.
