The issue is that the flashers are ACTUALLY not working not just hte dash lights. We had it at a shop today, they pulled every related fuse and nothing was wrong, they replaced the fuse to the flasher 2x nothing happened. Then we tried to get the switch replaced, now THAT has been an adventure! Apparently ONLY can get the #### thing from a kenworth, and after calling every kenworth in a 400 mile radius I found one I can get a hold of tommorrow but they wont be able to install till monday because they are idiots... its 5 screws and a plug, its not hard, so we will do it ourselves. Four days for a 5 screws... I swear only at a dealership.
I will however try that trick to see if its the switch first, buts about where we stand now, its got to be. No left, no right, no hazards. though the flashing of the back lights button on the turn signal handle works (for 'thanks' when passing) and the highbeams work.

I was having a similar problem and found that it was a Wire being pinched by the hood, Zip tied it away from that spot and the flashers worked again. Its amazing how many things a problem can be.

Wiring is hard to trouble shoot if you don't understand it and most people don't. I hope you get this solvedSOON

Turn signals and hazards just stopped working on 9900i ? Help please....

WOW you dig up a 6 year old thread and then post an ambiguous comment for help.
If you have not done any troubleshooting, just take it to a shop. You are wasting your time. -

Im having issues with my left, checked the fuses and they are good. I turn on the 4 way hazards and then turn the switch to the right and it cancels the 4 ways and puts the right turn signal, i try it with the left and all it does its turn off the 4 ways and does not turn on the left signal. All the lights work and I replaced the actual switch and still nothing.

I just had a 1996 Peter built with turn signal issues as well I found a burned connection and bad head light relay in the dash all the lights are connected together from factory through the flash to pass switch replaced relay fixed bad connection and the truck has been working perfectly for a week now before it would not leave the shop bay door
