Yes Ian brown I believe is the guy name, not bad just stay on central and run is loads along with what ever else you can put with it, if he tells you that you must domicile with him to run the loads don’t do it, stay on central you will be better off this way you can see what’s what’s here, also a few agents have amazon drop on hook, Schneider also, if you pull is trailer I believe you will be charge to use it not 100% on the charge part just so I am clear, also if you have tanker endorsement you should ask corporate about the sister company that run Honeywell and DuPont and a few other, something edged I cannot remember the full name right know, but they are also own by Evan which also owns us, most of those loads pay 3$ plus per mile gross, welcome and good luck, the trade war with China is hurting us this year, but last year and the year before that most of us here average 250,000 to 316,000, I myself gross I think it was right about 286,000 give are take, this year is not going like last year but I know once the war is over it’s back to making good good money again, with that said I hope you have some extra money to hold you down, it’s picking up a bit but you have to learn this company and the best way to learn is on central.

so you're basically paying them to use their authority, and you can get your own loads off of any load board? So you can be leased on to greatwide and just work / find loads yourself with uber freight, dat, trucker path and convoy?

 

Yes you can are if you find on agent that have their own loads you can run there’s as well, with running off the loads you just have to make sure they are good with us and the rest is yours,

 

they have local home every night rail work advertised here in northern ca - claiming 5k-6500 per week, and stating "WE OFFER PLATES, MEDICAL + TRACTOR INSURANCE, WEEKLY PAY, FUEL + TIRE DISCOUNTS, COMDATA CARDS, AND MANY MORE THINGS TO HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL" ... this is greatwide truckload management. are they over-advertising on gross, or is this reasonable to achieve with them doing local rail yard/container work ?

 

Lol almost but not way off, if you likes the port you should be ok, it was offered to some of the guys on the east coast, but you would have to be out there for months at a time, so guys was going to do it but it was later charged to recruit guys out there, money wish I am not 100% on because how it was laid out looks ok but you know how long it takes to get around the corner out there

You can run power only and do ok, if you come here go on central that will allow you to do what you want, the agent with loads like that is robbi- David-brandy- if you want to run for a agent, aron McCall- Ian brown- are if you want to do government loads, you will have to ask someone in corporate, right now as you should know rates are very very low so keep the in mind, I don’t want you to come here regret it, so if you are in the position to keep your self afloat while you learn who got what you want then come over, there are some agents that have it, but it’s like gold no one will tell, so you can think about it before you make the move, to be fair you have the ability to make it here, I am going on 4 years with them know, good luck driver,
