Well, things have changed, again....

TSH terminated my lease 3 weeks ago. I 'got into it' with a four wheeler, who videoed the whole thing, sent it to TSH, and I was done. I took my leased trailer back to TSH, turned in my ELD, permits, etc, and bobtailed 900 miles to the house....

I was completely in the wrong, no excuses....

And I've been home for three weeks. I've decided after 7 years of driving a truck, I need a break. My truck is for sale on Truck Paper. If you know anyone looking for a lightly used 2016 FL with only 335,000 miles I've got one for $50k!!!

In a week I'm starting a job 5 minutes away working in a manufacturing plant, 4 days on, 12 hours a day, then 4 days off. Unlimited overtime. Home everyday. Which of course is the reason for doing this. The wife has been wanting me home more to help her take care of her mother, who is 88 years old, can't drive, and lives with us. The 4 days on, 4 days off should allow me to do this. I'll be able to do daily things around the house that will allow the wife to do more for her mother.

Will this work out? Only time will tell. I may hate it within a month and go back to driving. The wife is supportive of whatever I do. She just wants me to be happy. And I want her to be happy...

I do know this. I need a break. From driving. Period. I've been noticing for a while I've been getting anxiety while driving. I'm even getting it while driving my car. I just need a break.

So... we'll see what happens. I'd like to sell my truck. Would help a lot financially. I did refinance the truck loan and got my monthly payment cut in half. So if I have to keep it awhile, I can.... but I don't want to. I think I need it gone, out of my driveway. To provide a clean break...

Life is always interesting....
