Hi, i am new to this forum and going to be new to the trucking world soon. I am going to get the training/ contract deal with CRST in California. Well on to my question. When you say that you get a free shower for 50 gallons is that when you guys are buying the fuel or is it your company buying the fuel? i kinda feel like i know the answer and that some are of you are going to say what a dumb a how can some one aford it but i am just asking to be sure. Thank you for your time

It's ok to have questions. Better to ask them and learn, than to stay quiet and ignorant. If you are a company driver, your company pays for the fuel. A driver working for a reputable company shouldn't have to pay out of pocket for anything without getting reimbursed. Tolls, scales, fuel, oil, breakdowns, etc should either be paid for by the company or reimbursed.
Neil Timpson Thanks this. -

So let me understand this right: A free shower for every 50 gallons. That equates to one free shower every day if you buy diesel every other day? I'm havin trouble cause I do not know how often a driver will fuel up.

If you have 2 150 gallon tanks & stop every other day & fill them up. you get one shower... If you buy 300 gallons of fuel... you won't get 6 showers, you'd only get one. If you stop and only buy 100 gallons, you'll only get 1. You have to buy at least 50 gallons to get that 1 shower. If you buy more then that 50 gallons at the same time... You only get 1.The Challenger Thanks this.
