WRONGFULLY TERMINATED FROM SWIFT

I have the police report which clearly shows how far i was into the intersection before he hit me. There have been no other write ups at all during my trucking experience and no pieces to the story that are being missed. If the light is turning yellow and Im going 35mph and make a hard stop with over 13,000lbs of goods in the back im afraid that could have been even more catastrophic. Swift states I had 2 seconds , quote 2 seconds to stop the truck before the light turned yellow BUT I WAS ALREADY THRU THE INTERSECTION. Please give me clear advice as to what I should do.

 

It was 1:54 am.m and my reefer was already in the intersection . The light was green it turned yellow after my trailer was in the intersection, am I suppose to know a car is traveling 65 mph ? Am I suppose to make hard stops as soon as a light turns yellow and cause my trailer filled with 13,000lbs to then flip or turn?

 

Not agregious, I have a copy of the police report which also includes picture of my trailer clearly crossing the intersection and the car running into my trailer.

Nope that simple. I had 2 seconds to stop before the light turned yellow which would have caused a hard stop IN MY OPINION and also a possible trailer flip. There was no mention of me going over the speed limit either. So, what can I do. I printed the police report as well which includes pictures.
