We got a msg yday telling us that Heartland drivers were going to start using our Albany Ga terminal as a drop lot. Apparently this dude thinks that's a sign of a hostile takeover.....lol

Look back thru here and this guys ladt several posts have all been about the downfall of Millis now that Heartland bought us. So my guess is hes a disgruntled former Millis employee who is hoping things go to hell here.

With that said NOTHING has changed for us drivers still, and I was personally told by the President of Millis last week once again that nothing is going to be changing.

But hey let this guy have his fun hoping for something thats not going to happen...

 

Hahaha ok bud. You sit back and just keep hoping. Maybe that will make ya feel better lmao

 

And there is no "Ex" about anythin . We are still and will remain Millis therefore David is still in charge of Millis. But hey you know more than us current drivers do, so please, tell us more about this "hostile takeover ". I'll be sitting here in my Millis truck, collecting my Millis paychecks, training more Millis drivers as i await your pertinent information you have ....

 

Do you honestly believe he would tell you if there was changes coming?

 

Probably not, but all the information I've been given from people lead me to believe hes telling the truth. Will changes happen eventually? Possibly but its not going to be in the immediate future.... believe me or don't I really don't care but I have plenty of information to believe as to why. Thats all I'm going to say.

I honestly don't care one way or the other about Miller or heartland. To me they are both nothing but mega big box training carriers. I just thought the whole "president told me personally" statement was silly.

 

Think what you want of it idc. All I was doing was relaying information I and others have been told several times since the buyout. And again nothing has changed for us drivers....oh wait Heartland drivers will be using our terminal in Albany GA as a drop lot...omg things are going straight to hell with this sale lmao

And that's your opinion regarding being mega big box training companies. I know there are very very few places I could go and make the $$$ I make here, with the hometime, I have here, with the driver amenities I have here, all while being left alone to do my job every single fn day. If thats a mega big box company then so be it. I'll work for a mega big box company the rest of my career if it means making the $$ i make here added into all the other stuff I listed.
