Roehl Flatbed

Been to the lumber place of HWY 5 there in Lackawana?

 

Yeah back in the overhead door?

 

I think it's the same one. There is a rock place right there that has their own scale.

 

Yeah, I have taken a few loads in there.

 

I'm in Roehl's refer division but I spent 22 days training with two different Roehl flatbed trainers. I can honestly say they where both great people, excellent trainers and hard workers. You can see the pride they take in their work. You'd be lucky to be one of them. PS. If your not a flatbedder, be prepared for a little grief from them. It's just a little sibling tauting between the different divisions of the Roehl famiy...

 

Just because you van and reefer guys don't like to work hard doesn't mean we are going to pick on you...

 

Just because the flatbedders couldn't pass the backing portion of thier CDL test doesn't mean we don't love ya.....

this dock is with a 10 foot spread... like to see you put a spread in it box boy

 

When I got out of evo II, I rode with a flatbedder and his student over from HQ to Kaukauna, where my truck was waiting. The trainer asked me what I was running, I said van, and he said "You know, come winter, everybody's going to want your job."

Yep. They sure will.

Don't flatbedders go into tighter spaces than van drivers? Construction zones, houses, etc?
