tri PAC apu how to turn on to just run

if you had read all the posts it would tell you how to do it in post # 16 you might learn something if you read more.

 

Still out here, my 07 Tripac still kicking except for the AC. Tired of dealing with that piece of junk, but engine still going strong . SEN wire still interrupted by a switch right by my bunk controls.

 

Old thread but hopefully it’ll help someone out one day, found a simpler way to run the apu kinda manually, you have to connect your laptop to the tripac apu and go to the programmable settings, then on the minimum charge duration, set it to 60min, then on the battery voltage restart value, set it to 13v which is the highest you can go, then update the settings. After doing this, I set my apu on standby and it keeps starting up every 30min and runs for 1hr to keep the battery charged to 13v and also it warms up the coolant to keep the engine warm, once winter is over change it back to 12.3v
