Hey guys, I'm looking to go to tmc in a week, I live in NC, and was wondering if flatbed can still make money with a Southeast regional route? From what I'm seeing most guys make money going NE.

Yeah I'd pick percentage pay no matter what, but wondering if there is money to be made going Southeast mostly
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
It all depends on the freight . and we are coming up on the slow season right now for flatbed and rates were not that great this year to begin with. But i would venture to guess that tmc has alot of dedicated customers they pull for so i think you would be good to go with them. Me personally i would get on their covered wagon fleet running steel. Mostly be running the same freight and dont have to tarp anything. Im not sure the requirments for that fleet but every driver i talked to that was pulling a wagon had nothing but great things
To say about it -
Oh wow, didn't even realize they did that, I know they have a specialized fleet, but don't know they did covered wagon thx!

Cypress Truck Lines is a Southeast regional carrier.
Their cdl training is in Jacksonville, FL

Howard Transportation has a yard & recruiting office near you; 333 Hamp Dr, Kenly, NC 27542
This company doesn't have their own cdl school though, you'd have to attend a private cdl school first or complete your contract with TMC, then go there.
