I've been looking at different Brokers and some of them apparently require general liability insurance.
Is this something common that Brokers require? Is it like 10% of Brokers or 50% of brokers?
I don't think it's that expensive to add to the policy, I'm just curious how many Brokers require it and how many of you guys carry it.
General liability required?

General liability is common in all businesses. Heck many people carry it on their homes so when the neighbor kid decides to climb that tree in your back yard his parents will sue you when he fails out of it.
PE_T, Midwest Trucker and Dino soar Thank this. -
Yes,Its common.
I do business withn NuCor steel- They require 2 million aggregate general liability- Its really not much more on your premiums.
Get it- You'll regret not having it.PE_T, Bean Jr., Dino soar and 1 other person Thank this. -
I added it this year, was less than $600 for 1m/2m. Being able to take one load from a broker that requires it will cover the cost.

I'm finding most are requiring it. Workers comp too. I'm calling tomorrow to add gen to my policy
Dino soar Thanks this. -
