As far as I know the great state of South Dakota is still not cooperating with their little money making program there.

I don't worry about them, because I don't speed through construction zones.

Iowa was writing ridiculous tickets through there, for like a couple mile an hour over, so the governor told them to pound sand apparently.

We had a truckload of them. All gone now. Still have the photo van parked on city streets, and cameras at certain intersections and school zones.

There was a guy that became a local folk hero for getting like 38 photo speeding tickets on his commute by the air port. He wore a gorilla mask on his commute, and was never fined.

Ohio doesn't mount them that I know of (I could be wrong), but if you see a cop either standing on a bridge or sitting in his cop car on a bridge that's what he is doing. They do it a lot on 80 from Girard to Hubbard. They love to stand behind the big green road signs over where 11 splits north, after all it is a safety corridor. LOL

Imagine the amount of money they can be bringing in ticketing for going over a couple mph! $100,000 a day!

    truckdriver31 Thanks this.

And that’s another question. What the hell is a “safety corridor.” I know what the words mean, but why label a section of the freeway a safety corridor? Is it because that stretch is known for accidents?

    Coffey and truckdriver31 Thank this.

I should know. A pup state bear with shiney new laser gun got me at the 12 yardstick near Indiana in OH on the Tpike. I was front door of 4. We were all booking time well in excess of 55 that afternoon. UGH.

A hour of yes sirs, contrite no sirs and so on. yeesh...

The speed? Lets just say he took off 20 from my ticket due to a laser storm arena shirt I was wearing that day. It would have been a arrestable speed.

    truckdriver31 and PE_T Thank this.
