I will say that DM Bowman is a little stiff in his requirements. You would hate it. Ive worked for him about a year, flatbed out of Frederick to Altoona in winter in any weather and then southern regional van out of his williamsport yard. I did ok that year however walking into the williamsport dispatch in weather appropriate attire in the heat of summer having just come from Alabama where it was like 110+ 30+ hours ago and being dressed down for bad dress code by a three item suit in frosty air conditioning made sure that I would consider moving on. It does not take much. If they want a good driver fine, leave him or her be. They did not exist in reality outside of the office. Almost robots I would say.
From those days I have had a deep revulsion towards those who wear stuffy suits in 60 degree air conditioning unable to make common sense decisions without excessive consultation with policy manual. //tease...
Its the environment inside Corporate that was a lethal and toxic poison to all good truckers. -
That means you will sweat all summer -
