i see this term everywhere on this site. a bottom feeder is a company that sucks up rookies, pays them 22 cents a mile or so, gives them 1000 - 1500 miles a week and calls that a job.
right?
what i want to know is what companies you think are bottom feeders? is it pretty much only the big ones? ive heard of it being swift quit, werner and c r england that do this notoriously. is this the concensus?
also the poll of bad companys that is stickied on the top of one forum helps but that poll could just be experienced people getting shafted and voting
when i graduate i dont want to be picky but at the same id rather try hard to get in a decent company than be handed a 'bottom feeder' like richg always talks about so often
thanks for the help![]()

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
