I think the question is, what will get you OOS without a stack of $1k tickets. I'd rather tell them I've had enough and where do they want their truck, tough it out until you can get out of it, than take a chance on running across an angry bear having a bad day (or year.)

    Log 20 hours driving.

Seriously, you and your boss are just one-upping each other at this point. Time to move on. Either you'll get out of it or come to appreciate him more with the next job.

Drive the truck to your home and tell the SOB to come get it.

"Too small for DAC"? Around here, even the smallest of the smallest companies use DAC...I know that because I applied there, and it said so on the applications. You better make sure they really dont use DAC before you do anything stupid. Better yet, just return the truck properly.

Will it be in the report that you asked to be inspected, or can you remain anonymous?

I only live 30 minutes from him, but I live on a cul-de-sac, and there are a lot of cars on the narrow street...
I sure would hate to try and back out of there. Not really sure I could get the rig in the neighborhood without tearing up several lawns though.
