I go the UPS store if I need something printed.
Like the 1 out of 20 trailer registrations that aren't there. -
You might have the option to select a high volume cartridge. Mine does. It costs a few bucks more, but prints many more copies before it needs to be replaced.
I think it has the suffix of XL meaning high yield.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
I used to buy the XL cartridges because they are cheaper than the regular cartridges when it comes to page yield count, but I stopped because I’ve had several cartridges go bad in my truck. Now every time I open up a new cartridge I make sure I use it up right away by printing as many documents as possible until the cartridge is empty or close to it. I have a bunch of trip sheets sitting in my truck.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

The best printers ever were the old Xerox. Those things would print an entire volume of encyclopedias with a single cartridge.
The corporate world said, " We'll have none of this."77fib77, kemosabi49, 88 Alpha and 2 others Thank this. -
I took the laser printer out of the truck because I get free faxes at TA. I bought a cheap inkjet at Walmart while on the road because I needed to print something RFN. Went to use it a month or two later and no ink left. Those Brother lasers are the way to go. A little power hungry but I ran mine off the yellow Truckstop inverters without a problem, but It’s the 3k watt model.
