Used or new Volvo has a good product. I’m driving a 2018 International with an A26 and it’s outstanding. My runner up would be Volvo and a distant third, Daimler. I have a 2015 Volvo with a driver in it and it’s great. I drove a Volvo when I was a company driver, 2012 model, and it was great. The new one with the turbo compound, I’d love to try one out. Interesting fact about Volvo engines before 2017, when common rail was finally added; they used a unit injector fuel system, similar to 1998 motors. Even with that kind of system, they were able to run downsped drivetrains and getting great fuel mileage. Nothing wrong with Volvo.

I hate to have to say: I have seen some that have stood the test of time and a million plus miles. That is without major repairs.

Volvo VNLs with D13 can be pain in the rear!
Common problems I have seen so far are -
    Injector cups
Dropping exhaust valve on cylinder #5, #6
    Cracking liners #5, #6
    Bull gear bearing problems
Rear structure seal leaks oil from both upper sides
    Engine Wiring and Harness

Buy Volvo with D12 not D13!
