That is very ingenious Mike 5511. I'm going to try this however I may try and come up with a different way to secure the opposite end from the antenna.

I have been running a 3 ft piece of pvc water pipe..Bought some a lil bigger on inside diameter that the outside diameter of ant ..This takes away almost all the ant sway..
Doing the same with my 102" on a 10" riser...Actually looking at a much taller riser for my 102" Cutting it to tune from the top down makeing the 102 stiffer again..Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
Jeeze, why don't you just get a Francis?
-
Pictures or it didn’t happened.....
-
I had always recommend the Francis, but seems the gurus say the quality ain’t the same..... that they snap at the base(bottom)rabbiporkchop and skellr Thank this.
-
Yeah, I think Road-Pro bought them out.
Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
I read that mostly the 6’ or 7’ skipshooters work best on those applications. I’m curious how @craig_sez has that set up with the pvc.rabbiporkchop Thanks this.
