CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Granted my dot physical isn't due until August... I didn't take.my.medication for the last 2 weeks and my BP is 164/102 terrified to stay the least ..

 

Sorry to hear that Paul, keep you in my thoughts. If they put a stent in will you be able to still drive? My uncle had to have a stent put in last year.

 

Yes ... But you have to re-qualify your DOT physical ...which on a open heart surgery is 90 days min.. , I'm hoping less time on a non open heart ... Doing ok just taking one day at a time ...

Why didn't you take your meds ... Thats way too high BP...

 

Doctors appointment today. Wanted it out of my system because my doctor didn't wanna believe me last time when I said my dosage wasn't working for me when I struggled to pass the last dot physical.. giving him no room to try that crap now... The medicine keeping me. Like right just barely above 140/90 and only on good days maybe in the low 130s high 120s isn't a stabile dosage...

 

Yeah my doctor prescribed me a diuretic to take with my Lisinopril and idk if it's possible for it to start working in one day but #### my BP was been like amazing all day long

 

Back on the road today on my way to laredo... Heard from a buddy of mine today that CFI is saying now I'm orientation to only expect 1800 to 2000 miles a week..... WHAT?

 

Ultratowel, that doesn't surprise me. Especially with the new eobr regulations. Got a feeling the otr driver will soon be gone like the outlaw truck driver days. An we will all be nothing more than regional or transfer drivers. May never happen, but that's the way I see things going.
