So far so good, only has 8000 miles. The big construction company I worked for has several X15 550’s and one X15 605 that pulls their 9 axle full time with over 100,000 miles and its run flawlessly.7-UP, singlescrewshaker, Al. Roper and 15 others Thank this.

All and I mean all of them I have yet to see the mileage out of the emission engines like you can get out of the old iron. Now my buddy's truck could be as simple as a loose wire who knows ?7-UP, Tug Toy, singlescrewshaker and 15 others Thank this.

In the 80s I remember guys hating the first 10000 miles on a new truck because of working the bugs out.
That said, I don't remember many guys having to get towed, just minor things to take care of. -

How many times has yours been rebuilt?Tug Toy, Feedman, singlescrewshaker and 12 others Thank this.

I was to young then but they definitely had problems. 92 series Detroit’s were rebuilt religiously, half a million miles on any engine was a common rebuild interval.
