I use a $12 electric kettle from Sunbeam to boil water and then pour the water into my Presto MyJo, put a K-cup inside the MyJo, and have K-cup coffee in under 2 minutes. The Presto MyJo is a manual K-cup device. Since it's manual it's as reliable as brick.

 

My el cheapo wallyworld kcup machine is going strong after 8+ months of truck use, on the inverter, at least one cup daily, sometimes up to 3 cups. I also use it for hot water for noodles and oatmeal.
