I always did that when an employer gave me a different truck. Every dent and scratch was noted on a time stamped picture as well as any damage to the interior.
Just wondering....eld question

.as shady as he is...that's great advice -
From your link,
6. Time spent transporting personal property while off-duty.
Drive the 6 towards the yard, post trip and go off when time expires, log pc, note why and hang a left for home. Not fulfilling a business purpose no more. Going home to clean out the truck officer.
And actually, could do it loaded too. Forgot they changed that.
Wouldn't even think twice about it if they were dumb enough to fire over the phone. And this is why you wait till the truck is safely back in the yard before firing. Truck could be going 9 hours in the opposite direction.Last edited: Dec 13, 2019
chucomom Thanks this. -
Lol. I caught that too. Most companies wait until you get to a terminal before kicking you loose. So you don't sell fuel and/or truck parts or tear up the truck.
Not trying to give the op any ideas here though.buddyd157, Bean Jr. and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
To be quite honest alot of ideas have crossed my mind but I'm not that kind of person. Those it has been enjoyable playing out scenarios in my mind...lolBean Jr., FlaSwampRat and kemosabi49 Thank this.

I’d want to be paid in full before he got his truck back.
FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
I think he's talking about it getting caught in audit.

If they are fired, they are no longer under their insurance, even if its while driving, stop get a cab and go to a greyhound and go home. If it's on the side of the road, and u didn't do anything wrong, I'd call a wrecker and have them tow it to their yard, where it's safe and sound. Then get your stuff out.
