The USA should allow Mexican trucks ....when Mexico allows Guatemalan trucks to run anywhere in Mexico.

    rlmichael09 Thanks this.

Then bring em on! Because Mexico does allow trucks from Guatamala, Belize, Costa Rico and other Central American countries to come and go!

Having read this thread from beginning to end I have to say.
The Mexican drivers should stay in Mexico. The border should be closed Indefinitely.
All Illegals (no matter the nationality) should be deported (I know it will never happen).
I have been to Mexico, it was a very beautiful country, all of the People I met were very nice to my wife and I. Of course, I treated them with respect and they did likewise.
Spanish as an elective is fine, but English is the Primary language here and Immigrants need to recognize that. They must assimilate to Our Culture not the other way around.
As has been stated Numerous Times here, If an American migrates to another country legally, they are expected to assimilate and naturalize into the host country and culture. The Host does not accommodate the immigrant by changing itself into something it is not.

I have meet many very wonderful Mexican workers and yes they are the salt of the earth however, if they are here ILLEGALLY, they need to leave. America has enough of its own problems without taking on those of other nations at this moment in history.

Let me tell you something. The OP is full of absolutely full of fruit loops.

I wonder if he can convince us that the thousands upon thousands of Mexicans jumping the border everyday aren't really here. Never mind the fact that we seem them everyday, its just the US media trying to create hysteria. LOL, oh brother.

Oh, and another little thing that totally cracked me up with his speech, and I cant believe nobody caught on to this before me.

Converting pesos to US dollars. 100 peso ='s about $7.50 US. So we are to believe a cop in Mexico risked their job and a trip to jail, and accepted a bribe that wouldn't buy you lunch at McDonalds in the US?

I wonder if a mod wouldn't mind checking the IP address of the OP to verify that this poster is indeed even in Mexico.

You got that right! The fruits that even photos cannot convince they're wrong in their assumptions! This is what you mean, I'm sure!

Seems like the same bribe in Peru - I was there in May and it's the same as Mexico. Cops on the take. (Surprised?) however they started using females for traffic cops and they're not easy to bribe from what my family told me. When I left I heard that soon all the traffic cops will be female so the program must be successful. Not just in the Capital Lima either, I saw it in the provinces. Sounds like Mexico's safe away from the border or you would have come back to USA by now. Like south america, you have to know the ways, the people and where to go and not to go and not believe everything you hear from the news media.

If D.O.T. is doing their jobs at inspections and Mexican Trucks are required to stop at all the P.O.E's, then truck safety shouldn't be a concern. They will be pulled off the road if not safe. Companies aren't purposely going to send unsafe trucks here and have it impounded, shut down and lose money and freight when they can send a truck that meets all US standards instead.
Am I off on this conversation?

5 years ago this town may have had a few thousand Mexicans living in it. Now we are over run. They are EVERYWHERE now, I cant drive down the street with out seeing Mexicans roofing, Mexicans running shovels, Mexicans eating lunch at the local Qtrip. Mexicans driving dump trucks, Mexicans at WalMart, Mexicans standing in line at the free clinic. One of the larger free clinics in town has had to build a huge new building to give away more free health care to the Mexicans, was a recent article about it a few weeks ago in our local newspaper. Schools are so full now we have had to build more. They are EVERYWHERE, and there were very few just a few years ago. Guess what? 99 of 100 of them are illegal.

You can post photos till your blue in the face for all I care. Truth of it is, for every 1 photo you post of a truck that isn't garbage, there are 100 more that wouldn't pass the most basic DOT inspection here.

Kinda funny you should mention. Just today on Sirius Radio Road Dog channel, they were talking about how many abandoned Mexican trucks are being found abandoned on the US side of the border. The number was something like 5 out of 14 trucks. But hey, you'll just say its PANIC once again right?

I do not begrudge or blame Mexican families for wanting a better life. I am sure if I was from Mexico, I would be a fence jumper too. But, its time your people take responsibility for THEMSEVLES. Do you understand many of us here feel you are like little orphaned children or an abandoned dog to be pitied. We know your people are helpless, we know you need help from your own corrupt govt. But, you eventually have to help yourselves! If you would put the same effort you have put forth here into trying to convince us on the board that Mexico isn't the 3rd world country we know it is. Take that effort and build your own country into something to be proud of. I am sick and tired of looking at illegal Mexicans waltzing around my country daily. Sucking up its oxygen, hands out. GO FIX YOUR OWN COUNTRY!!!
