i cant find much on them from drivers on here or you tube so just wanted to make a thread. based off the little i did came across its the best auto you can get.. my question would be how does it do against a 13spd or 18 spd manual from what i know it only (allison tranny) comes in a 10 spd for class 8 trucks and they have no intentions of making a 13 or 18 spd version in the future

I looked into the heavy allisons a while ago, I think they're expensive and heavy, but no actual experience. I have a 3000 series behind a 300hp ISC in a tractor, runs great, easy to drive, backs up nicely (not like a AMT).
Blkcowboy Thanks this. -
I know a lot of the Tri axel dumps run them around here. Guys seem to like them, & my mechanic raves about them. Best trans you buy he tells me. Lol. He also sold me my 13spd

Anybody use one of these transmissions yet, any more reviews?

Only rated to 80,000lbs I just read, that is not enough here (Canada).
