I’ve loaded there at Gaylord a few times. I always thought they had a Mickey Mouse way of doing things there. But it was a good load that went to Front Royal, VA so I gladly hopped on it.

3081 miles is decent miles. @80,000 miles in 6 months if it remains consistent. Not too shabby!

If you don’t mind me asking, what are some of the dispatchers names there? I have a hunch, but don’t want to say anything about it just yet.

 

Everything is still going well. Company is taking care of me. Sorry sirhwy for not responding. I don't want to put office staff member names on here. For the sake of their own privacy.

Been quiet for a while. Been a good few weeks. Started from home in New Mexico, picked up in Colorado took that load to Massachusetts. Eventually worked my way to New Jersey to take some meat to Iowa. Did some of our jack links circle in SD, Iowa, Minnesota.

Got a reset in and then took a load from Dakota City, NE to Los Angeles. Worked my way up to Fresno and brought that load to Minong, WI and now I am waiting to start my day in Clear Lake, IA headed to Underwood. Will probably stick around Alpena till I go home 10 days for Christmas.

I finally found a place that is relatively stress free and works well with me. I think it's a big reason why I don't hang out on the forum much. As long as I continue doing long haul I want to do it with these guys. Be safe everyone!

Do you know if they hire/hiring in Rhode Island?
Been driving for 27 years last 6 years at current employer. It would be a big move for me as well. But change is needed.

They might hire over there. If they can get me home to the middle of nowhere New Mexico, I don't think they'll have a problem getting you home to Rhode Island. If you want, email me gladhandsw@gmail.com

Mike the owner of Stan's Inc is supposedly a really nice guy I never really met him when I work there. I just know that dispatch was really into coersion. They tried to bully me into driving in unsafe conditions, broke, agreements and refused pay promised wait time or layover on deliveries. But hey to each their own.
