And I thought it was going to be put in earlier this month.
What gives I wonder? It sure would be nice to have that option.

    FerrissWheel and dptrucker Thank this.

    Jurupa valley terminal.
Got to the final just after 1600 and they gave me a door and was unloaded in 30 minutes.
My next pick up was in fontana ca.
Is a high security loaf again and didn't have the hours to run 200 miles. So came here for my 10.
Used the scale here and drives are just over 30000 lbs and tandem are 35000 lbs.
So have to go to the flying j down the street in the morning to really see what it is.
Asked the guy at dispatch window if it was ok and he said as long as I don't leave the truck unattended. Lol
Asked him how was I going to get the scale ticket lol.
In the security message it said I can only scale a load. But cannot fuel while loaded.
Hopefully the scale here is wrong or I have to go back to shipper to get reworked.
Heading back to beaver ut to switch trailers again.

    FerrissWheel Thanks this.

Delivered lumber in Fresno. Gonna pick up a grocery load in Sacramento monday going to Fontana. Yeah, short week, but they are trying to keep me in the west to be home on the 27th.

I'm currently in WI near La Cross, stuck on a very short load that doesn't deliver until the 26th in IA.

I picked up an extra $50 (and an extra 9 loaded miles) today when I agreed to ferry another driver from Inver Grove Heights to La Cross so he could get back in his own truck. He has been in a loaner for the past week as his was at the FL dealer here.
Been there, done that, and in the end I was glad to help. A bus trip sucks, or being stuck at IGH now.
I had been considering the option of taking a 34 at home, since this load will force it on me. That didn't work out, but his need was greater than mine.

Inver Grove is completely shut down now except for the drop yard. No more staff inside, and it is locked up tight.
I had planned to scan paperwork in when I got there and wasn't able to.
Beware if you go there - not even a bathroom available.
Now it is some outside company operating the exit gate remotely.

Hopefully Knight/Swift will keep it as a drop yard, otherwise I don't know where I will drop my empty when I go home. Having to insist on a drop load with no requirement to take an empty would seriously limit my loads home.

    FerrissWheel Thanks this.
