Air ride trailers

You cannot eliminate all jerking.

Any time you support airride in hauling freight becomes a asset, not a liability or problem.

Before I drove airride trucks I had cargo damage constantly. After I drove airride trucks cargo damage declined to almost zero.

 

Ordered a 40ft PJ last week with air ride and lift axel. In my experience it is indeed a plus, not withstanding the importance of cold weather preventive maintenance. Haven't really had as good experiences with self activated units though. Much prefer manual activation. And yes even in hot shot most shippers will see it as a plus if not the odd requirement. Coming from Class A tankers with air ride. Yes, Hutch and Hendrickson are both reliable. Maintenance and repair in my experience is mainly having fittings and a bag or two; basic tools not withstanding. Transitioning into hotshot. Semi retired. Beef was mainly the self deploy not the manual ball valve. I.E. opinion on air drier and winterizing. Thanks and regards.
