I’ve been noticing the spread between the cash price of diesel and the NASTC price is up to $0.60 at the mom and pop’s, and up over $0.80 over the big three, at least here in the PNW. Why is competition not driving down the cash price? At the current spread, NASTC is saving us close to $10K per truck per year. That seems nuts.
What’s with diesel prices?

I use RTS fuel card and only get .13 cents at PFJ, but some mom and pops I get .60+ off in the PNW. Even though I hate going there, Jubitz in Portland for me is $2.50 per gallon on my RTS card right now. In Texas last week I paid $1.90 per gallon and made sure I filled up before leaving the state. In California the best I can find now is $3.89 per gallon.
