We're looking to move to Mississippi sometime in the near future and wondering what sort of O/O opportunities there might be in the state (preferably mid-south). Why MS, you ask? Because we plan to go fully independent in the future and insurance rates there cant be beat. We thought about some of the states with no personal income tax but the insurance or property taxes takes the luster out of them.
@Chinatown, have you anything up your sleeve?
I suppose I should add that I prefer flatbed/ RGN but not opposed to dry van if the pay is decent.

Mississippi is ok. I like anywhere along Interstate 10 & Hwy. 90 is even better because it's near the beaches.

All kind of transportation in north Miss.
Memphis area. Plus, if you're gonna get your own numbers, there are places that you could start hauling, power only. You could lease on, or haul with your numbers. Dry van that is, I don't know much about flats.HoneyBadger67 Thanks this. -
