Thanks for the info. I'm still waiting for my license to come in the mail. I'm hoping it gets here this week so I can try to set something up w/ the Pasadena TM before the end of the month.

 

I can see advantage and disadvantage of a hose rack. Getting onto rack full of product would suck and having to wait for hoses to get cleaned. I like here at Superior we can drop dirt tank n hoses at tank wash and roll. I like to have an apu unit but not my truck so can’t complain. Hope everyone has a merry Christmas and good new year. Hope everyone got home if could. I’m working by choice.

 

I rarely hang dirty hoses on the rack
Usually put them in the hose tray/tube
Drop hoses at tank wash, drop dirty tank in yard and go back for my clean hoses

 

This is my biggest fear... my terminal is actually full of new drivers. I got hired on December 17th entry level.... I've already got a few under me.

I hope they do something about the trucks my mack is a pos and only getting worse lol.

 

Wow! What terminal are you at? How long did it take from the time you interviewed to actually gt hired on?

 

the Aluminum one I have is maybe 50#. It was nothing for me to life it up and install it myself.

 

The driver that dropped off the tank should have ensured there was a standard set of hoses. Still not an issue as there are other tanks on the lot, plus a tank wash around the corner about 2 miles away.

This is the way.

All trucks will become Superior trucks. I have spoken.

 

Got my license showing all of the correct endorsements in the mail today. Gonna reach out to the Pasadena TM tomorrow. Hopefully he has some time to meet this week!
