They went to 25% in 2016 because less than 1% of drivers tested positive in the previous years. Now it's back up to 1% again so back to testing 50%. And I can't see the positive rate ever going down again.
If you can't pass find another occupation -
Sweet. The shortest time I've been in the clinic the company uses for a random is two hours. I'll gladly sit at the clinic getting paid to wait on them.

So 4 million truckers more or less, 1% = 40,000 high, stoned or otherwise hot drivers testing positive.
HA add that to the driver shortage claims when the new database takes effect Jan 6th.Lpirtle Thanks this. -
Why so defensive?
Nobody accused you of anything lol, or are you just doing what most chicks do when watching a tv show or movie..... injecting themself and relationship into the movie subject or story line?
“If I died like that would you miss me?”
“If we won the lottery would we stay together?”
“If I fell off a cliff would you come get me?”
Of course that’s just meant in good fun guy, I wasn’t implying anyone specific but we both know there’s a few reading these forums it applies toLast edited: Dec 26, 2019
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Nope, it would be over 1% of 25% of 4 million tested positive or 1% of 1 million or 10,000 positives out of a million random tests. Next year they will random test 50% of over 4 million or a little over 2 million drivers.x1Heavy and tampadedicated Thank this.

Given the state of our medical industry I’d bet on a large amount of false positives.......

That's why they do split samples. Ask them to do it again. Properly this time.
