    Trying to leave municipal waste and try something different perhaps regional freight. Not sure if this the right section to ask. But if any other o/o northeat pa,ny etc can recommend a good company that’d be great. I’ve been looking on craigslist etc but why not ask my fellow o/o.

    Just curious how that municipal waste pays, I see alot of guys doing it.
    How far out do you want to travel or do you just want to stay in the NE

    In municipal(garbage) pays mainly by the tonnage. I.e a run I do from Brooklyn NY pays $35 a ton to Dunmore PA 80k gross weight. I usually avg about $830 in a Freightliner sleeper. Than deduct expenses. But the thing about garbage is it takes a huge strain on your trucks. Especially the landfills. NE regional work VA etc where maybe i can be home every other day.     Nah, I was just curious. I figured it was by the ton. I'm sure there are some companies for you. I wouldn't really know to stay in that area. I know a guy that runs for Hartt out of Bangor ME who is really happy, but it goes all over the east coast and midwest.
    ..There are some of the Grocery supply haulers who are home pretty much every night depending on where you live
