There was a couple of foreign fellas with a conestoga backed in next to me. They opened the trailer, drove the mini escavators on and couldn’t get the trailer closed. Escavators were too tall. I got tied down and left. I don’t know what happened to the load.

I’ve never seen an all aluminum Dorsey. I could never own a Mac trailer because of the arch. Been looking at a lot of East trailers. Probably going to go to the auction in Bettendorf in the spring[/QUOTE]

Not great pics. But they seem like they will build what ever you want.

To be Fair. I've had so many brokers call with that "legal flatbed load". Any not even know what kinda of product it is, let alone diamentions.

It's just a legal flatbed load.

Seems odd. Mini excavators I've hauled have always been a good bit under legal height once the arm is set down. Should fit in a conni with no problem.

O well. That seems to be a trend with foreign fellers.I was pulling reefer for about a week before Christmas and the 3rd load this guy pulls up takes his papers to receiving office and comes back out and backs up to the door and waits and waits and waits....out comes the shipping guy and tells him hes at the wrong address. he musta been waiting at least 2 hours. So much for schedules.:(

Can’t speak for others, but my conestoga is 8’ which puts me at 13’-6” on the nose. I can do 7 1/2’ inside as long as there are no sharp edges. My roof sags to the inside when open so I watch it very carefully.....!
